Crazy For You, la canzone di David Hasselhoff

Per i nostri contenuti extra oggi vogliamo porre alla vostra attenzione il video musicale della canzone dell’attore David Hasselhoff, noto alle masse per i telefilm anni ’80 di Supercar e Baywatch. La canzone scelta porta il titolo di Crazy For You e sulle sonorità tipiche anni Ottanta, con un pop-rock melenso e pulitissimo, è impossibile non sbellicarsi dalle risate!

La canzone risale al 1990, tutt’altro che fresca ma forse ancora non tutti la conoscono. David Hasselhoff ha iniziato ad avere una fama mondiale con i telefilm sopraccitati (Supercar dal 1982 e Baywatch dal 1989) ma prima ancora, durante gli studi all’Accademia delle Arti Drammatiche, si dedicava nel tempo libero a cantare nelle band locali. In seguito, fra i due telefilm, ha debuttato come cantante con la canzone Night Rocker nel 1984, continuando poi la carriera sullo stesso genere musicale. Come cantante ha anche riscosso un ottimo successo in Germania, secondo Wikipedia è stato addirittura convocato per un concerto in occasione della caduta del muro di Berlino nel 1989. Ha infatti cantato diversi altri brani.

Questo pezzo con relativo video è stato scelto perchè ridicolo in ogni sua parte. Come videoclip è tremendo, noioso e buffo. Vedere poi il “macho” Husselhoff sulla sua moto da figo mentre canta “crazy for you…” con sonorità melense anni ’80 risulta davvero divertente. Frasette amorose come “siamo fatti l’uno per l’atra” e “scriverò ti amo sulla sabbia” si sprecano. Notevoli anche le espressioni e le movenze dell’attore! Senza voler offendere il suo lavoro, mi permetto di dire che il risultato è quantomento esilarante ai giorni nostri. Difficile rimanere impassibili, fin dai primi secondi.
